July 29, 2023 「Fuchu no Mori Coffee 3rd Annivaersary 森の夕涼み会」で夕暮れ上映会

府中市美術館内のカフェ「府中乃森珈琲店」さんによる3周年記念イベント「森の夕涼み会」に参加しました。

デジタイズした8mmフィルムのビデオを、美術館の壁に投影。

暗くなる前から上映を開始し、徐々に現れる映像が、訪れた方々の目を惹いていました。

スクリーンを設置せず、建物の壁に直接上映する趣向は、HMDメンバーによるもの。

私たちは「壁ドン上映」と呼んでいます。

今回は念願の壁ドン上映が実現した、「夕暮れ上映会Vol.2」となりました。

屋台で楽しむお子さんたちの声や、素敵なライブ演奏と一緒に観ると、約50年前の映像が生き生きと蘇り、ノスタルジーだけではない美しさを放っていました。

As part of the "Fuchu no Mori Coffee Shop the 3rd Anniversary Summer Festival," we screened digitized footage that had been previously shown in September 2022 at Fucu Terrace. The audience consisted of regular customers of the cafe, many of whom were seeing the footage for the first time. The children were fascinated by the film projector rotating, which was not for projection but for exhibition purposes. The live music played during the screening provided a beautiful soundtrack for the film. We are grateful to the cafe for providing us with this wonderful opportunity.
