February 2026 府中市郷土の森博物館で恒例の上映会開催！

2026年2月21日（土）、毎年恒例となった府中市郷土の森博物館でのホームムービー上映会「むかしの府中にタイムスリップ！」を開催しました。

会場の府中市郷土の森博物館で梅まつりも開かれており、春の訪れを感じる一日となりました。

今年は展示建物内ではなく、プラネタリウムに隣接する会議室での上映となったため、寒さを気にせずゆったりとお楽しみいただけるイベントとなりました。

今回は展示コーナーを充実させ、古い地図やフィルム機材に実際に触れられる場も設けました。古い地図を囲みながら、昔の記憶をたどって会話が弾む場面も見られました。

会場は少し奥まった場所にありましたが、121名もの方にご来場いただきました。
「地域の映像や写真を保存して次世代に繋ぎたい」という私たちの活動に対し、多くの応援の声をいただいたほか、ZINEや手ぬぐいをご購入くださる方もいらっしゃいました。
今回も上映、展示、受付を支えてくれたスタッフの皆さんには、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。

 

 

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, we held our annual home movie screening, "Time Slip to Old Fuchu!" at the Fuchu Kyodo-no-Mori Museum. The Plum Festival was also taking place at the venue, making it a day that gave a sense of spring’s arrival. 

This year, the screening took place in a conference room adjacent to the planetarium rather than inside the historical buildings. This allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the films without having to worry about the cold. 

We expanded the exhibition area and opportunities for visitors to actually touch old maps and film equipment. We also saw lively conversations unfold as people gathered around the old maps and traced their memories of the past.

Despite the somewhat tucked-away location, we were delighted to welcome 121 visitors.

Many people expressed their support for our mission to preserve local films and photographs for future generations, and some even purchased our ZINEs and original Tenugui towels.

As always, I am incredibly grateful to all the staff members who helped with the screening, exhibits, and reception.
