全国から「今年の１本」ホームムービーが福井に集結！

全国の「ホームムービーの日」世話人が、各地の1本を選んで一挙上映する「今年の1本上映会」。
コロナ禍を経て、実に7年ぶりの開催となりました。

会場は、暮らしと共に地域の記憶を記録する拠点として開かれた福井市の「あわい読書室」。若いオーナーである丸山さんと奥様のお人柄がにじみ出る、居心地の良い素敵なスペースです。

当日はお子様を含む約30名の方にご参加いただき、地元新聞の記者さん2社からの取材も入る大盛況となりました！

今回は福井をはじめ、根津、仙台、大阪平野、神戸、府中、北海道、中野、葉山、京橋、八戸と、全国11会場から集まった16本のフィルムを上映。

3時間以上の長丁場となりましたが、途中で席を立つ方もほとんどおらず、皆さま最後まで熱心に鑑賞してくださいました。

そしてイベントの最後には、当日フィルムをお持ち込みいただいた地元の方の作品を、その場でインスペクション（状態確認）してサプライズ上映！

娘さんの成長を記録した映像に、ユーモアあふれる愛情たっぷりの語りが重なり、会場は大きな感動と拍手に包まれました。最高に心温まる雰囲気で締めくくることができ、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。



The “Film of the Year Screening” is an event where “Home Movie Day” organizers from all over the country select one film from their region to screen together. After the pandemic, we were finally able to hold this event for the first time in 7 years!

The venue was “Awai Dokushoshitsu” (Awai Reading Room) in Fukui City, a space opened as a hub to record local memories alongside everyday life. It’s a wonderful, cozy space that truly reflects the warm personalities of the young owners, Mr. Maruyama and his wife.

We welcomed about 30 guests, including children, and even had reporters from two local newspapers come to cover the day! 🙌

This time, we screened 16 films gathered from 11 locations nationwide: Fukui, Nezu, Sendai, Osaka-Hirano, Kobe, Fuchu, Hokkaido, Nakano, Hayama, Kyobashi, and Hachinohe. 🎥

Even though it was a long event lasting over three hours, hardly anyone left their seats, and everyone watched intently until the very end.

At the end of the event, a local attendee brought in their own film, which we inspected on the spot and screened! 🎞️
The footage documenting their daughter's growth, paired with a humorous and affectionate narration, filled the room with deep emotion and a big round of applause. We couldn't have asked for a more heartwarming finale, and we are filled with gratitude.
